Admissions
The Primary (Children's House) Montessori experience consists of three or four years. It contains progressively emerging curriculum, beginning when the child is 2.5 to 3 years old and concluding when the child has finished their Kindergarten year.
Parents are strongly encouraged to begin their child's Montessori education as close to 2.5 years old, as possible. Children may join our program when they are independent in the toileting process.
If you are interested in learning more about Blue Spruce Montessori Children's House, please email or call us to schedule a tour of our environment. Tours are typically offered Monday - Friday at 4:30 pm. The initial tour is for parents only, children do not attend.
After your tour, and deciding that Blue Spruce Montessori is the best fit for your family, a Waitlist Application will be submitted and a parent/child visit and observation of the community will be scheduled.
Spaces for fall enrollment are offered and confirmed soon after March 1st each year, though occasionally mid-year enrollment may occur.
Preference will be given to those children who will help create balance among genders and age groups. Preference is also given to families who are committed to remaining in the community for their child's Kindergarten year.
